All Saints Community Church Launched
ACiC Press Release
White Rock/South Surrey, BC – Birthed out of much prayer, All Saints Community
Church is now celebrating its official launching on Nov 18th Sunday. The All Saints team, led by the Rev. Peter Klenner, rejoice in the godly oversight they are receiving from the Anglican Province of Rwanda with Archbishop Kolini.
Led by Bishop Sandy Greene, All Saints is pleased to be the newest member church of the Anglican Coalition in Canada. All are welcome on Nov 18th at 3:30pm to join All Saints’ ‘Celebration of a New Ministry’ at Holy Cross Church, 12268 Beecher Street, Crescent Beach. The Rev. Barclay Mayo, Rector of Christ the Redeemer Pender Harbour, will be preaching at the induction.
After meeting in a home during the summer on Sunday nights, they had their first service on Sept 23rd with 45 people at Holy Cross Catholic Church, Crescent Beach.
The All Saints people are excited about the move of the Holy Spirit in their services, experiencing a real freedom in worship. The children stay in the services, with clip boards and work sheets. The whole purpose of the new congregation is the Great Commission, with a desire to reach out creatively to the White Rock/South Surrey community. Preaching the Word of God, quality acoustic music, and the celebration of the Eucharist, characterizes the shape of the All Saints worship. As an expression of their African oversight, All Saints currently use a Kenyan liturgy, and Rwandan offertory baskets. Enquiries are welcome at 604-209-5570.
