Chosen Retreat Offers Refreshment

currents 062010 chose retreatLiving Waters Network hosted the first Chosen, Partners in the Harvest retreat in Norcross, Georgia, on May 27-29. More than twenty women attended the weekend event, fashioned specifically for the wives of ordained Anglican Mission clergymen.

“Time is precious, and I am very selective on how I spend it,” declares AM clergy wife Val Eberhart. “The Chosen retreat did not waste my time. It was the most relevant and focused retreat I have ever attended.”

Chosen offers a time away for clergy wives to gain insight into their position as a partner with their husband for the Kingdom harvest. Teaching as well as fun opportunities to build relationships with other clergy wives are designed to bring a better understanding of their personal identity in Christ - all in a safe environment with those who share similar experiences and struggles.

Plans are already underway to duplicate Chosen retreats in other networks across theAM.
