Apostles Mission Network Gathers for Fall Retreat

Enjoying fellowship and a cup of LOTH coffee at Apostles Mission Network retreat.
On October 25-28, more than 100 leaders from 54 churches in the Apostles Mission Network gathered for their Fall retreat at Rockbridge Camp nestled in the Shenandoah Mountains of Virginia. The time away cultivated community in an atmosphere of encouragement, relaxation and recreation.
The Rev. Chip Edgar from Church of the Apostles in Columbia, South Carolina, delivered a message from Hebrews 10:23-26 on encouraging one another, and Bishop Terrell Glenn opened the text of the Lord’s Prayer, inspiring prayer as a central focus of the Apostles Network.

Good coffee and conversation at the network retreat.
Weekend activities included small group breakouts covering a range of topics from medical benefits to healing prayer. Two lucky participants won an iPad and a free voucher for Winter Conference 2011 registration.
Apostles Mission Network churches are sub-grouped into 10 regions based on geography to meet a goal of maintaining relationships and support outside of a retreat setting. “Our vision is to build healthy regions for the purpose of birthing new networks as the Lord grows theAM,” explains Alan Hawkins, Network Leader.
