September 9, 1997
The First Promise gathering was held at All Saints, Pawleys Island, South Carolina.
January 29, 2000
Bishops Chuck Murphy and John Rodgers were consecrated bishops by Archbishops Kolini and Tay at St. Andrew's Cathedral, Singapore and later that year (July 28-29), the Amsterdam Consultation officially created the Anglican Mission as a missionary outreach.
January 17-21, 2001
The Anglican Mission hosted a "Homecoming" Winter Conference. It was so successful that it's now an annual event.
June 20, 2001
Four additional missionary bishops were consecrated at a service in Denver.
January 14, 2006
The Anglican Coalition in Canada (ACiC) was moved under the direct oversight of the Anglican Mission.
May 2006
Anglican Mission Networks took shape, and a Network Manual was developed.
January 2007
Formation of the "Anglican Mission in the Americas" was formalized.
"Ministry Among Hispanics" and "Asian Ministry" Initiatives were announced.
September 4, 2007
The Rwandan House of Bishops elected three additional missionary bishops, appointing them to serve in the Anglican Mission.

2008 included a move to new facilities.
January 2008
A special development initiative, "Land, Leadership and Legacy", was launched to facilitate expanded mission, and millions of dollars were raised to accomplish things beyond what the operating budget would allow.
April 2008
Emerging demographic data identified two significant mission targets - reaching the Mosaic Generation (under age 30) and strategic church planting in urban areas.
July 2008
As a result of two generous gifts, the Anglican Mission purchased a new building for the Mission Center and relocated from its original site at All Saints Church.
The Office of Leadership Development, formerly operating from a field site, transitioned into the Department of Leadership Development, moving to the Mission Center.
January 2009
A Western Initiative was launched focused on planting well over 100 churches primarily on the west coast.
June 2009
Three additional bishops were elected by the House of Bishops of the Province of the Anglican Church of Rwanda (PEAR) and were consecrated in September of that year.
